Concept
The 1980s was the Golden Age of touring car racing, with the European Touring Car Championship offering fantastic races, as well as exciting races in the various national championships with the Group 2 and Group A regulations. It was also in this decade that the mono-brand trophies emerged strongly, attracting a lot of sympathy from both drivers and the public.
Over the years, these cars have gained extra interest. With the same spirit of the 3 C's "No Cheating, No Crashing, No complaining" and with a format similar to the Historic Endurance, we want to offer to the teams and public a competition where these fantastic cars can participate, with a similar spirit to the one we have today in the Iberian Historic Endurance.
The cars accepted for this competition will have to use Toyo Tyres, with a grip similar to the season and a very pleasant cost to use. It will not be accepted cars with own regulations like DTM, SuperTurismos, Australian competitions.

Only Touring cars (Group 1, 2, N and A) and ex Mono-make competitions cars are admitted, including GT cars only in this case.
Within the eligibility of cars accepted, we will also accept cars in Trophy specification and not Group A, as this was the time of the trophy boom. Given the huge competition in the Spanish Porsche 968 Trophy at the time, we will also accept these cars into our competition
In this new competition we will accept, among others, the following cars:

Touring cars Group 2 from 1976 to 1981
Ex- BMW 323i, Ford Capri after 1976, Ford Escort MK2, Rover 3500 SD1, VW Golf GTI MK1, BMW 635 (gr2)
Touring cars Group A and Trophy up to 1994, up to 2000cc
Ex- VW Golf MK2, Mk3, Honda Civic, Peugeot 205 GTI
Touring cars Group A and Trophy up to 1990, above 2000cc
Ex- Rover Vitesse, BMW 635 CSL, Ford Sierra Cosworth, BMW E30 M3
Grand Tourismo Trophy up to 1993
Ex- Porsche 944 Cup, Porsche 964 Cup, Porsche 968 CS Cup, Ferrari 348 Challenge, Ventury Trophy
